Arrived in San Juan - Water Beach Club!!

Hey! 

So, I'm travelling with my old friend Eduardo Alves (www.mapa-mundi.com) from New York, and we've just arrived today in San Juan from Rio de Janeiro to start the trip!  He's invited me to come along with him, he's got the toughest job - travelling around the world to be best places, and writing about it - so finally he needed someone to help carry his bags, and it's me!! 

First, we're staying in the Water Beach Club Hotel, San Juan's hip/chic/boutique hotel -- a nice little Delano knockoff, with a really friendly staff, and great oceanfront room views.   Off to a great start.  Gotta love it!!    We're staying here for two days to get the feel the place, then moving to the Caribe Hilton, just for the contrast, I guess.   The Water Beach Club has lots of creative design and decor ideas, it's got charm, but lacks polish, like "I made it myself!" everywhere you look...  But still, everyone that works here is great, and so it's a place to check out!
