Was woken up by fireworks this morning at 2 (apparently the Chinese set them off when the first cock crows). We have about 40 Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean students at IFRS (www.ifrs.com.ph), so we had a special mass in English Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean, with some lovely singing from the Chinese and the Vietnamese. This was followed by a Chinese feast (it's the turn of the Vietnamese to cook next year).
