Quick (but crowded flight from Manchester to Heathrow, followed by long 11 hour flight to San Fransisco.  Big up to British Airways, both flights on time and baggage arrived after transfer in San Fran, with no problems.

We had a great view of San Fran, Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge on approach and was a lovely day there when we landed.  Airport really slick and we got through, caught the free 'air train' to the car rental and got car all very quickly.  The journey up here to Mariposa was hard going (rush hour coming out of san fran), but will take some pics in daylight in the morning........at the mo, all we want to do is sleep !!!!

OMG - get out on there I saw the film last night!!! Did it have a sign outside saying vancanies?? I hope you car is running well
