Huacachina, Peru

On a less mystical note we travelled to Huacachina, a small oasis in the desert surrounded by towering sand dunes, after a adrenaline filled dune buggy ride across the golden sands and steep dunes with us getting serious air due to our slightly deranged driver we strapped quite literally a plank of wood to our feet with velcro straps and proceeded to sandboard down the steep dunes. Being some what like snowboarding through thick gravelley sludge it was very hard to turn and going straight forward was really the only option, a softer landing than being on a ski run inevitably followed but resulted in sand still being discovered in various orifices days later.
