The whole purpose was to check into our bus trip around Europe at 6pm on the Friday night and then the bus left the next morning at 6.45am. Good planning by us really!
So we arrived at the Royal National hotel late in the day as we'd heard really really bad things about the place. To our surprise the hotel wasn't that bad at all.
We headed down to what they call the Contiki basement to register and have a little banter with the other 49 people that were going to be on the trip. All was fine with checking in and noma and i headed out to find a pub to have dinner. Noma decided that it would be a good idea to find a pub that was at least 5 miles from the hotel and to top it off it pissed it down! good work missy! Nice pub grub though.
Then off to bed for the early start!!
