Went to Miraflores Locks to see one of the huge cargo ships pass through. Had to wait hours, so got pretty bored but just about worth it in the end. A very poor film and museum on the history and workings of the canal, almost kept us awake, so we were pretty negative when the ship finally came through.
Apart from that thereīs not much exciting stuff to do in Panama city. I guess I could have opened a company here for some tax avoidance back home or drunk a bit more beerby the pool but the options are limited. We decided that the museums would bore us to death too, so have avoided them. Seen the little history that they have but itīs nothing compared to Havana. On our last day we are off for a very long lunch...
The country has been great, the whole trip has been wonderful but Panama City has been a little disappointing...
