We took the Euro Star train from Paris to London this morning and are on our last full day on this little adventure.  The Euro Star was on time and because of its speed we were at our hotel in London before noon.

We booked The Rubens across the street from the Buckingham Palace Mews because Melanie had stayed there and knew Robyn would love it.   They gave us a room upgrade and it was pretty awesome.  We highly recommend this place if you are in London, but it is a little pricy. Robyn wanted to take a tour of the Mews so we went over and paid for our last tour of the trip.

The Mews is interesting because it is where the royal carriages and horses are kept.  This was actually pretty cool because these are working carriages and there were two horses in the stables.  When the Gold State Coach is used for Coronations or special state events it  takes two days to remove it from the storage  because of the size of the coach.  I am attaching some of the photos Robyn took.

After we left the Mews we went to the JW Marriott Steakhouse for our last dinner in London.  Tomorrow it is back home to Dallas.
