We have covered some ground since Lubeck, in fact two more countries! Now in Belgium in a place called Namur (largely chosen because the lonely planet entry for here said we could do things for free). And we have cycled and wandered round the old town and the citadel which is pretty.
Previous highlights include walking along a big red line in Hanover (twinned with Bristol), cycling in the rain in Amsterdam, checking out the ladies in their red windows, (Mark says window shopping is another free activity), cycling into Brugge for the day (spent a lot of that day eating actually!), drinking Belgian beer, climbing the butte de lion at the battlefield in Waterloo and generally having an awesome time.
Belgians are very friendly (especially the french speakers), the Dutch were alright too! Off to Luxembourg next so will let you know how we get on there!
