Casey, Cailin, Eli, and I will be leaving for Europe in just five days. That's five days to finish packing, finish moving everything out of our apartment, wrap up everything at work, say our goodbyes, and get on the plane! All things considered, I think we're all doing pretty well. We've got so much to do that we can't afford to spend too much time freaking out about flying halfway around the world for five weeks.
Our basic itinerary is:
- Ireland (Dublin, Slane)
- The UK (Holyhead, London)
- France (Paris)
- Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome)
- Greece (Athens & Surrounding Islands)
During that time, we'll be sleeping in the old courtyard of an Irish castle, working the earth on an organic Irish farm, bunking up in a historic English courthouse, picnicking on the lush lawns beside the Eiffel Tower, crossing the grand canal of Venice in a gondola, buying fresh pasta to prepare in our own Florentine kitchen, marveling at the works of Michelangelo, Da Vinci, and Picasso, basking in our private, traditionally furnished, two story condo on the Grecian coast, kicking up sand and waves on the beaches of the Greek islands, and much more.
Europe, here we come!
