Well, I thought I was beyond a bungy jump, as many of my friends, and my sisters will tell you! BUT, given the great group experience we've been having on our overland tour from Cape Town to Livingstone so far.. (and Nairobi, Kenya ultimately in three weeks time) I decided it was NOW or NEVER.. (and believe me, I NEVER thought I would be doing this, at this stage in my life!)

ANYWAY.. there we were, on the Zim(babwe)/Zam(bia) bridge, overlooking the roaring Victoria Falls.. what a fabulous setting. My young inspirational friends, Jonny, Tania, Nadia, Ronan, Sheena, Jamie, Carly and Bella were cheerleaders for me, and as happy for my courage and daring, as I was pleased with myself! In fact, we all watched eachother, and that was the best part of the day.. encouraging eachother on, and celebrating our swooping successes!

I see how fearful I am in general.. it may be linked into my dominant worry-gene too, who knows.. but it was funny to see how the body reacts, the closer one gets to the point of no return.. ie the jump off point! It was when we were weighed on the scale that I thought... you know, publicising my weight may be even more humiliating than an aborted bungy jump! But, I went ahead, shocking number from the weighing scales and all!
