Once upon a time there was a normal holidaymaker who went on a trip to Cambodia. With her friends this trip had been planned for 2 years, but work was such that she didn't really think about it. She packed her bags and left for a bit of winter sunshine.

This was January 2009.

Something changed (or perhaps evolved?) that day when she stood at the Thai/Cambodian border.

This trip is the result of that change/evolution.

I know there are intrepid travellers all over the world, but I wasn’t one of them.
