A Quick Family Reunion and Some R&R

 My son Michael and his family were vacationing in Costa Rica while I was in the Galapagos Islands.  They were flying out on the 7th of June so I decided to make a quick trip to see them.  We stayed at the Holiday In Express which is right by the airport - easy for their 7:30 a.m. flight home. 

It was great to see everyone and the  boys, Parker, Taylor and Josh, were full of stories about all the animals they saw: sloths, monkeys, macaws and crocodiles.  They also went deep sea fishing and caught a bunch of fish.  They couldn't tell me all of their stories fast enough!  I am so glad they had a good time!

After they left, I moved to a hostel in San Jose with the plan of resting for a while.  I barely left the hostel and just spent my time catching up on my blog, sleeping, listening to music and watching movies.  Just what I needed!

This afternoon I'll be on my way to Charlotte, NC to visit my brother and buy a new wardrobe for the next leg of my trip which will take me to Iceland and Spitsbergen...
