On Sunday morning we decided to take a walk in the area around Räfsnäs.  It was a bit cloudy and there was a mist in the air but we pulled on our rain jackets and headed out with Lotta and Lennart.  Lars and I have walked in the area before but Lotta knows many other paths so we were happy to be with her.

Even in the morning drizzle the countryside is beautiful.  There was a dreamy quality to the light over the Baltic sea and the soft silhouettes of boats and buildings made the view quite spectacular.

We were enjoying our exercise until the mist progressed to a steady rain.  But it was easier to go onward to the road home than to retrace our steps back through the forest.  We finally arrived back at Lotta's house very damp but happy to have had such a fine hike!
