We travelled by coach from Copenhagen to Berlin. When reaching the southern tip of Denmark we caught a scandlines ferry. The coach drove onto the ferry, and we climbed the stairs to the passenger decks where we could got to cafes, sit and watch out the window or duty free shop. It was a 7 hour trip, arriving at Berlin at 1.30pm. We caught the underground (U Bahn) to the city centre. ( we did have a little language barrier but nothing to worry about). We had 3 nights at St Christophers hostel. It was a 24hr place that had a bar below with an Aussie running it. It was a pretty cool place, 2 Becks for 2 Euro. ( AC liked it because it had world sport TV on 24, 7). On arrival we headed straight to the nearest traditional German pub for a pork knuckle and a snitzel. We did a 4hr city bike tour, which was really great to get our bearings in the city. And a full day tour to a concentration camp outside Berlin. ( Aussie tour guide!!!).
