We found our hostel and hit the showers!
Got cash enough for food, drink and metro and got my Maltese ID so I didn't need to bring my passport and then put my mobile in my bra:)
No bag for scumbags to snatch and no worries!
We started off by walking to the park full of museums, lakes and birds. A lot of people are jogging, skateboarding and walking their dogs in this area.
Then we took the metro to the city centre to check out some buildings and went through the markets..you can find just about anything on these types of markets
São Paulo is a huge city and there are people everywhere! You see the police wherever you go and mainly around the markets and the city centre. We went to a church in city centre and its a really big area outside with benches and stalls and a lot of homeless and dodgy people are hanging in this area.
This city sure comes with a lot of crazy and we do feel like we need to keep an eye out for people that might wanna snatch some money from us.
Saying that, all of the people we interacted with so far has been extremely helpful and nice. We are very careful here and now that it's getting dark we will stay at our hostel. No going out after dark here! Most hostels are in gated communities so nobody that doesn't belong here can come in so it's very safe!
Other than that it's very warm. 26 degrees and cloudy. It's kinda nice walking around a big city like this without the sun belting down on you!
Tomorrow is our last day here, then on Saturday morning we are going to Rio.. Another city full of crazy I'd say.. But its supposed to be very beautiful!
