Ouch! we're lost!!!

We've been away from home for a very long time now.
You guys write us back sometimes, after you've read the blog, saying how "big are your hearts" for accepting living in a place like Haiti, and working in not-always so good conditions...
Well, it's hard from within to comment on that. But let me tell you one thing: from a vacation in Miami, yes, looking toward Port-au-Prince, I can tell we live in a small place, in a non-developed area, in a resource-less country, it is amazing!!!
We're not used anymore to streets with normal concrete on them, you see? No holes, no traffic, just normal people doing their routine thing on the street. Without any awkward or unpredictable movement of their cars.
No garbage, except in garbage bins.
Choices, to many choices, at the grocery store. Wow, this is heaven...
At the corner of 5th Street and Washington, the gym building, at night, projects a colorful light show on its outside walls, changing every second, for the benefit of the passerby.
Tranquility of the mind, who does not see homeless people on every street, who does not get begged by 12 year old boys every time you step out of a car. Perfect blue skies at midday, a perfect full moon tonight, lavish art deco hotels, clean houses, flowery gardens, and no high fences protecting properties.
