After a big flight from Sydney to
Dubai with ethiad i got into Dubai in the middle east. Had always been curious what this city would be like. After a good nights sleep i went out on a dhou cruise down Dubai creek for a look at the old town and part of the new. It was into the markets for a something to eat and a look around. Fitted in a trip then to the
Dubai mall which was massive and full of all kinda of stuff. Following day it was off around the city on one of the hop on hop off buses which takes you everywhere. Made it out to the Palm tree which is man made and extended out into the ocean. Some of the stuff they have built in the city is absolutly nuts and planning permission does not seem to be an issue at all. Lots of the stops on the trip were malls and there is no shortage of shopping in the city along with the famous 7 star hotel like a sail sitting just off the coast. The worlds tallest building has just been built too which is well impressive.
With another Ethiad flight it was on my way home to dublin then to finish off a 10 month trip.
