We spent our last week in the States visiting San Francisco. We stayed with Andrew Whalley who is the brother of a good friend of ours. He was very welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed and appreciated his hospitality and his girlfriend Megan's company.
San Francisco has a very European feel to it, in that it has a lot of character and a boutique feeling. However it is steeped in American history, with plenty of places to visit which will occupy at the very least, a week. It is a beautiful and scenic city, with many personalities depending on the area you are in.
I won't go on as this blog is quite lengthy...enjoy!
