I'm not going to write to much on my speil today because I wrote a lot in the photo descriptions. Ok I pulled a lot of history off Wikipedea. However, Marcelo and I enjoyed our day romping around Boston. Harvard is definitely worth seeing.. We took a free tour (though donations are encouraged) with a tour group which use Harvard Students as their guides. We really enjoyed it as the guide was charismatic and had lots of funny stories about the University and her History. Our favourite part of Harvard was the Pizza place Pinochio's. Don't get me wrong, Harvard was great, but this Pizza was amazing!
Next it was a toss up between paying $22 entrance to the Science museum or $30 each on the Duck Tour. We decided the Duck Tour. It was nice but I have to say it was a more exciting experience when I was 9. I did enjoy the fact that we were riding in a genuine WW2 vehicle as we were told that they will soon be decommissioned. Next time for sure we will do the Lightening Show in the Science Museum which I think would be amazing at any age.
Next we tackled the Freedom Trail, we managed 15 of the 17 stops (I have descriptions of 14 of them). It's a great way to learn the history of the start of the American Revolution. In Boston you feel steeped in History at every turn.
If we had more time we'd have eaten dinner in the Italian Quarter, they had some amazing looking food there.
Sometimes we need to save things to do for next time.
