So one of our last stops in Brazil was Natal. What a wonderful place to round off our trip. We stayed with Marcelo's cousin Huiara and her grandmother in her new apartment close(ish) to the city. We are very grateful for their hospitality as the looked after us very well. One of the things Marcelo said he always wanted to do in Natal was dune buggies, so we got ourselves together and went for it. What a fun experience, and what a great job the driver has skidding around on dune buggies all day.
We also visited the worlds biggest fruit tree which covers around 6 acres and is still growing but has to be cut back because the city has been built around it. If you visit it in season they will give you a sack full of cashew fruits to take home. Yes you heard right - fruit. The Cashew is a fruit with a nut stuck on the top. (Well a false fruit but I won't get into that too much. Anyway I have been nice and descriptive on the photos so have fun flicking through them!
