Walking walking out of Copenhaguen has been more easy than expected...

Then the awaiting starts along the entrance of a highway after a while there is a car standing and Laura goes to it, he was simply talking on the phone and not expecting or having remark the hitch-hikers. But well he takes us anyway further on... the place is a bit creep so finally he offers us to give us a train ticket and bring us to a further station.

Then looking for how many time we needed to stamps the ticket we dont mind and stamp it all thinking it wasnt enough anyway but finally when the young lady controller came over it appear we had stamps too much... cool!
Arriving in Helsingor, walking to the ferry line which is just accross the streets and hop after a moment we are on the ferry Hamlet... for a nice crossing standing on the deck and enjoying the sea breeze. Funnyly a german girl come over to me to ask if I needed a lift having seen my board Jönköping and my canadian flag but since we were 2 she couldnt take us as she only had place for one person. Sad!

Finally in Helsingborg, Sweden. We look for a place to hitch-hike so I decide to go where the car unload from the ferry... it happens there is already 2 hitch-hikers. Damn! We wait for our turn, eat and I go to look further if there is a place where car could stop as the place is really not the best. It appear again that there is 2 other hitch-hikers at the other place which is not good anyway. Our luck went on when the 2 first hitch-hikers got picked and left us the place... we started hitch-hiking in front of the roundabouts moving from one branch to another when the different ferries unload their passengers... sadly no cars and only another hitch-hikers couple showed up and start hitch-hiking behind us.

I started considering moving somewhere else by the afternoon and then moved to the tourist welcoming office that was nearby to ask for a map... there I saw 2 other hitch-hikers that had just arrived from the both and that was enough. Back, I told Laura and we got our things and start to move. Finally wondering where we would go and how, I asked someone on a parking lot and hopefully he offered to take us along to a hitch-hiker spot at the edge of the city. Few seconds after we came out of the car a police motorcycle arrived to tell us we couldnt be there and we had to move before the highway signalisation sign that was few meter beneath. We did just before the sign and finally waited at a street light looking at cars. Finally its a woman who took us in a hurry at the light I forgot my hand bag... panic but hopefully I remarked on time so we turned over and drove again at the crossroad where my bag was still standing in the grass. Oufffff! Hopefully!

We got the ride with her for few kilometers further on the good highway to a little stop and service station. There it was somewhat dead for a while so we started eating and talked to a dutch couple in their caravan who offered us water and apples. Since the traffic was so scarce we simply moved back to the highway on ramp and waited waited. Finally its a danish couple going to their cabins who took us for a longer ride to the north. Getting to move is always good and the place we got stopped was way better, bigger, more traffic and more clean. It would have not been bad as a place to be stuck to sleep in. There was also a huge woodden statue of a moose!

We ate some more and relaxed on the grass before moving and finally got our ride... a guy who was driving all the way to the north, so we were about to reach Jonkoping and we could have done Stockholm in a day too. But we were going to sleep at Maria in a village near Jonkoping which was still few hundreds km. I talked with him most of the ride while Laura slept at the back and the ride went pretty good and fast. Finally we stopped at a exit in Jonkoping and it seems there was some misunderstanding at where we were being picked... so we waited until Maria and her friend came over to bring us to Forserum after an attempt of parking to visit Jonkoping who didnt suit.

Arriving at her place she made us feel real comfortable like at home and let us relax and calm down while they were preparing the dinner. I cleaned my bag and took a shower before getting downstair while they were preparing the table in the garden for a wonderful improvised and tasty pasta meal with a great salad! We ate this great meal with dry tomatoes and so on enjoying the sunset and the nature surrounding and talked a bit. It also appeared that Maria's friend was a HC member who live in London at the moment... We discussed and it could always be possible to meet up when I will pass there later!

After some short dish cleaning, we had thought of going to swim in a nearby lake and its what we did by dusk, enjoying a fresh swedish lake and the calm nature of the pristine area. Well in other word it was great and the water was just perfect. After that we came back and relax some more, did some laundry so that I could have some clean clothes and used the Internet before getting to sleep.

The beds were so comfy that we slept like babies till the morning... it was really welcomed!
