It took us a couple of hours to clean the house and pack everything up and so we didn't leave until lunch time.
We drove up to Tiverton in Devon where we were going to have dinner at Mandy’s house.
We reached her place at 5pm as arranged and promptly got lost in the middle of time. Fortunately we happened to see Mandy walking along the road so she was able to show us where to park. Her road is so narrow that it is not possible to park near her house so we had to use the car park down the road.
Mandy’s house is a tiny terraced house right next to the edge of the road. It is really only big enough for one person! The house is about 300 years old and is typical of the style of terraced houses in this part of the world!
Mandy made us a pasta for dinner which was lovely . we didn’t stay too long however, because we were going to drive all the way back to Reigate that night.
We set off again at 8pm on our drive back which took us about 3 hours, so we were home again by 11pm.
