We didn't have a very good night's sleep as the road was quite noisy. We left early and drove down the road to Denny's as we had decided to go out for breakfast.
We stuffed ourselves full of pancakes, maple syrup, sausages, bacon, bread, bottomless coffee and juice and then rolled out of the restaurant like big fat balloons!
We drove off and arrived at the border at about 10 am. We didn't have to wait very long at all to cross and so before we knew it we were back into Canada.
We thought about taking the kids ice skating again but the rink was busy with holiday program activities. The pool was very busy too and so we gave up and drove round to Craig and Suzanne's. Their boys William and Sam were really looking forward to seeing Zach and Holly so we thought we should go there a bit earlier than planned.
We had a shower, a cup of tea and spent the afternoon chatting until Craig got home from work.
We had a BBQ all together but then Craig had to go out as he was going to a concert. We relaxed for the rest of the evening and Steve did some e-mailing etc.
