We woke to a beautiful clear blue sky and wonderful peace and quiet.
After a shower and clean up we did some jobs on the RV. I cleaned out the fridge, Steve fixed one of the dinette seats, a draw that wasn't opening that well and we hung up our pictures.
We then went for a big bike ride up the road along the river. It is so beautiful here, surrounded by the mountains, dotted with pine trees. It seems like there is no-one else here although of course that is not true, but there is plenty of room for everyone!
After lunch our neighbour, Howard, offered to take us for a drive in his 4x4 up the valley, we were going to be in REAL grizzly country. I was sitting in the back and thought it might be good to check the window wound up ok only to discover that although I could press the button to unwind it, it didn't seem to work to wind it up! I just prayed we wouldn't get too close to any bears or beasts with my window wide open! Of course I am here to tell the tale so we didn't see anything!
We had a very interesting trip along very bumpy tracks and eventually returned around 5pm.
We spent the evening watching 'Dances with Wolves'!
