Steve's cold has become Caroline's and Holly's too.  We are all ill now!  Steve is getting better and Zach was a lot better today.

We arrived in Oregon today crossing the Columbia river on a huge bridge which must have been over 2 miles wide. This took us to Astoria which we drove through, but then we got distracted by some retail therapy..... its so cheap here!
Holly got some Sketchers for $25 !!! I have got some too but they are waiting for me to pick them up at another store further south.

We carried on driving along the most amazing road Route 101, which runs down the Pacific west coast all the way through Oregon. The scenery is beautiful and there is a lot to see.

We are now at Nehalem in a camp ground on yet another amazing stretch of beach with white squeaky sand as it is so fine and soft. As we are facing west we are seeing the sun set over the horizon out to sea , so it is all quite spectacular.

We have been using a small portable BBQ most nights to cook our meat for dinner, so we have been having a drink and relaxing while we are outside cooking.

Zach has been hooning around the place on his scooter with a boy camping next door to us and Holly has been out on her bike.  We are all quite tired so it's early to bed for us.
