Four weeks have passed since we arrived here in Dorstfeld to the flash of cameras and the welcome hugs of friends and family. What have we been up to?

-         Loaded washing machine = 25x

·         Celebrated: 13x (Christmas, New Year, Welcome, Birthdays, Weclomes..)

·         Walked from the car to the cellar, up three floors to the flat = 20x

·         Presented "The Best of Manic Trip" = 10x

·         Gave interview to the press = 2x

·         Met up with other arriving overlanders “Cape Town – Gelsenkirchen” = 1x

·         Called insurances = 17x and counting

·         Visited the “Aemter”  = 9x

·         Showered = 2x per person/day


·         Missed the trip: countless.......
