Where I stayed
Today we did the hour long driver over to the Kennedy Space Centre, Marc loves all things space related so he was super excited. The whole area around it is actually a protected wildlife area so there were loads of birds and also tons of alligators in little rivers along the side of the roads we seen loads!!
It was a great day out, you get to watch the videos of the story of the moon landing, touch a piece of the moon and best of all get to see the Apollo/Saturn V rocket - its absolutely huge and was amazing to see. You could go behind the scenes to see the building of bits but that was more money and we are doing out best to stretch our cash as much as possible now.
Cocoa Beach
On the way back we stopped off at Cocoa beach for a bite to eat - unfortunately no beer for me seeing as I was driving but it was nice to sit out. Its spring break just now so the place was super busy.
Back to our motel for some well deserved rest - its a long day walking around these huge attractions.
COSTS
Basic Entry to Kennedy Space Centre - £28 each
Room at Days Inn International Drive - £35 per night
