So we decided to make a stop in Bariloche to break up the mammoth 40hr journey from El Calafate to Buenos Aires and this was kinda a half way point.

This place is famous for chocolate and at present has also been suffering from ash problems from the volcano that has been erupting in Chile but when we arrived the sky was clear and the only signs of it were piles of ash at the sides of some of the roads.

We basically spent these few days eating again, we met a few people on the bus here and we all went out for dinner 2 of the 3 nights we stayed here and the other night we ate our free dinner in the hostel which was foul it was like baby food so we felt it was deserving to have more steak haha.

We also sampled some of the chocolate they make here, the choice in the shops is amazing and it was super delicious, we spent an afternoon sitting out having some beers in the warm sunshine it was great to be back in the heat after our few weeks in the south.  

We went to the local museum which was a waste of money everything was in Spanish but they had some cool stuffed animals !!! Random

Aside from that it was lazing about - on the last day it looked like the ash was back 
you couldn't even see the other side of the lake there was grey haze in the sky but we were off on our 22 hour bus ride back to Buenos Aires.

Costs
A huge fillet and a sirloin steak with chips and bottle of red - 35 for two
Bed in a 6 bed dorm - 8.24 each
Bus from El Calafate - Bariloche (20ish hours) - 100 each 
Entry to local museum - 2.25 each
