Wow! I have been blocked by the Peace Corps! Why, because I am no longer within South Africa. I have an amazing new boyfriend that told me the other day that I am very opionated, yes I am. I am hurt that my friends in the Peace Corps have blocked me from their information that I cannot find in America. There is no Friends of South Africa web site, I guess I shall take the initiative to make it, but I feel as though I don't have any at this point. Why was it ok to block me?! I have gone through so much, I have repressed so many memories. Yes, repressed. Oh sorry Peace Corps, did I not tell you that I was mugged or had an attempted mugging six times. That I witnessed a rape and couldn't do anything about it. Putting a small blonde woman alone in a village to do Domestic violence work was a great idea! Oh the countless wedding proposals, or just advances i received.
God, i have been amazingly well, ecstatic in fact, I start Nursing school in January, but god for the last few days I have been very sad because I miss my Peace Corps family, but come to find out my Peace Corps family has shunned me. Shame on them. Just wait, wait until they come home and their families don't understand their experiences, so they start to turn inward instead of outward. I feel sorry for all the boys and girls coming home from Iraq because I know how they must feel. Happy Thanksgiving.
