EDINBURGH - DAY TWO BLOG!
Yesterday was such a wonderful day! I woke up at 6 am because I couldn't sleep anywhere and ate breakfast for two pounds and had a shower and hung out here! Everyone is so friendly. You can't walk more than two steps without meeting new people!
We then went to the Scotish Wisky Experience to learn about the wisky making process and how to taste wisky (its similar to wine tastine). We then went on a walking tour and heard many stories about history. Our tour guide was from Saskatoon! There is a famous dog, Bobby and his owner died so he spend the next twelve years of his life living on top of where his owner was burried! When bobby the dog died, he wasn't allowed to be burried beside his owner at the catholic cemetary because he wasn't baptised. We then heard lots of stories about ghosts (they are very strong believers in ghosts here) and saw some churches, castles and then went on the hostel pub crawl at night and I met some germans who went to Alexander von Humboldt school so I told them all about Humboldt in Saskatchewan and they were excited.
Today we went to a cathedral and then we ate Elephant house which is where J.k. Rowling write the Harry Potter books. She was very poor and stayed at the restraunt all day so she didn't have to pay her heating bill at her flat!
But we are off to Glascow for one night!
Love you, Miss you!
