Eeeewww, didnt wake up feeling too well this morning at all!!!!!! Thanks Barb! After a nice hangover food breakfast we head back to bed. Paul and Barb rocked around about 9.30am full of beans to start the day, Oh, I dont feel well........
We decide to go to Mt Buller for lunch, twas a long way up and my stomach was not likeing it at all, with hangover and giddiness I wished the day over soon.
Despite my self inflicted illness I toughen up and enjoy it once we get to the top of the mountain. It is not quite as high as Mt Hotham but still plenty high enough for people to do paragliding from (must have rocks in their head if you ask me), we actually saw a guy jump from the top of the mountain and handglide out of sight.
At the top there is a heritage listed Chalet accomodation house which is being renovated and will be a wonderful stay when its finished.
Of course, as the Chalet was closed we didnt get lunch, I am starving, and the belly is doing somersaults as we head back down the mountain, please let the day end!!!!!!!!!
Finally we are back down the mountain and I managed not to pewk all over Barbs car (sure she wouldnt be happy about that one!) and go to the pub for lunch, twas a nice refreshing tomato juice for me, whilst the others enjoyed beer and wine.
After lunch it was discussed that we go to look at some lake, however, this bloody lake is also up another mountain, OMG my belly couldnt take that, specially after it being full from lunch, I am sure Barbs car would suffer should we embark on this trip. LOL So it is agreed we would just go to Mertleford and then on to visit Phil and Janet for dinner. Rick and Paul grew up with Phil who now lives in the mountains near Bright.
Phil and Janet have the most amazing property (65 acres) where the house sits on top of the mountain with the views of the valley below. They have cattle and sheep among other things on the property. They are really lovely people.
We had dinner and I just had a socialable glass or 2 of southern, had a really nice time although still wasnt feeling well and was glad to get home to bed
