Where I stayed
I eventually got up and packed up my things. Alex came to pick us up at 10:30am to take us to Hyskov.
When we arrived at Hyskov, the house was spotless and Emma, Alma, Hamuldi, Venda, Marketa and little Jitka were out. When everyone got back aunt Jitka arranged us all in special positions squished around the dinner table. All 11 of us!
We first had a vegetable soup with some pasta and balls of meat in it. Then we had some chicken breasts stuffed with prunes and little baby carrots and, potato salad and boiled potatoes. For dessert we had apple strudel, fruit salad with cream and more Christmas cookies.
After lunch we sat around for a bit, then the kids got more presents from baby Jesus as the girls hadn't been to Hyskov yet over Christmas. Hamuldi got some more Lego, a truck and a boat, so I helped him put together these.
The kids went upstairs for a bit to prepare a play for us adults. I went up to see what they were doing and Alma gave me an invitation to their play which she had written for me in English do I could read it.
Soon after, everyone went upstairs to watch the kids play. Venda was the star and there was something about monsters do he was telling them to go away. It was very cute.
We all headed back downstairs and Jitka made us all something 'salty' which was breads with different salads and cold meats including cow tongue (ew) and cheeses as well as corn chips and pretzel sticks. For dessert we had Czech nut cake.
It was late by this time so Marketa, Alex, Alma and Emma had to go. It was a bit sad to say goodbye as we won't see them until we come back to Czech Republic again.
I sat about with the boys while they watched a Czech kids movie then looked at hotel stuff on my phone.
It got to about 9pm, we were all very exhausted so we got ready and headed to bed.
