With the sky filled with clouds yesterday and not being able to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, I woke up early today as my past experience told me early mornings are great for blue skies, calm weather and good views. So I bolted out of the hostel at abt 6am and walked to the Ohashi Bridge over the lake and I was rewarded with great view of majestic Mount Fuji. Ace!

We then checked-out of the hostel and made our way to the JR station before taking the local train to Matsumoto.
