Well despite travelling north we now find ourselves in some pleasant weather at last; here we are in the Metroplex aca Dallas Fort Worth, a sprawling mass that joins Fort Worth with Dallas. We have found a great campsite that is actually in Arlington which lies between its two very famous neighbours, it's called 'Tree Tops' for a very good reason, we're nestled under hundreds of oak trees - rather unusual in such a developed area. Travelling north on the I-35 was reasonable and then we hit the big city! But Malc coped with the six lanes+ hard shoulders expertly; he really has become an old pro!
The warmer, drier weather gave us a chance to do a few maintenance jobs and then this afternoon we visited 'Trader Village' those of you who remember Melton Mowbray Market on the old airfield will have a bit of an idea...but hey this was something else!! You could purchase almost anything here, a true cacophony of sound/smell/and sights...for once words fail me. Just view the pictures...
