Lara is safely home and I am once again in the warmth and coziness of Annaīs apartment. It was wonderful to see her at the train station and to spend the evening lying in her bed talking our heads off. We have a very special relationship and we really needed this time alone. Anna loves Nicole and they got along splendidly, but it is also so important for us to have this time together alone, as it will be awhile before one of us journeyīs across to the other oneīs continent again. I havenīt seen too much of Anna, save that first night, because she is crazy and goes to school in Holland. But we have the next few days and spending yesterday completely alone was good for me. It has been a very long time. At first when I woke up it felt wierd. I had been looking forward to it, but then realized I didnīt like it. It took itīs time to grow on me, but I ended up feeling refreshed and had some time to completely absorb myself in a book, as well as go for a bike ride and take a nap. I phoned home and was put on speakerphone for two hours and got to be a part of Laraīs homecoming. That was a small slice of heaven and by far the best decision I made all day.
Now I must transport myself back into the present and head back to Annaīs apartment so that I can start enjoying my next few days with her.
