We're back to Top Sail State Park after having been in New Orleans for 3 days. This is luxury compared to most state parks which only have water and electric. Top Sail has water, electric, sewage hookup, concrete slabs to park only, a pool, shuffleboard, a free tram to the beach, green grass (you usually get sand), and WiFi. The Donut Hole Cafe is a wonderful place to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you're ever on Hwy. 98 in Santa Rosa Beach.
The beach pictures are from Seaside which is a town on the scenic road of 30A. It's not too far east of Santa Rosa Beach. It's definitely a tourist town and would cost you a fortune to stay there but it's neat to visit from where we stayed (for about $22 a night). The water all along the strip in the Panhandle is like being in the Bahamas and the sand really is like sugar.
