Well, well, well...

I arrived +/- in the Center of Bariloche at 23:30 in the night of 13th of December, tired after the long day and sleeeeeeepyyyyy... It was cold and I had gotten down from the warm bus from El Bolson and since then I've been shivering with cold... well... c'est la vie... there are things in life we cannot control... what I could control was to have my jacket all buttoned up (actually it was all zipped up) and pray to get fast to the hostel I have chosen, a Hostelling International one, called Marco Polo Inn (I totally recommend it!!!!!).

I had already received the map of Bariloche in the Bus Terminal, in the same morning, between the time I had the coffee and the moment I left my big backpack in the Luggage room (thank Got they exist, could not have carried with me my backpack in El Bolson...)

Well, in only 10 to 15 minutes walk I was arriving at the hostel and asking for a room...

The girls and the guy at the reception were very nice and animated (given that it was almost midnight I was very happy not to see some sleepy faces there :) ) and we had the already classical conversation I have around Latin America when I meet new people and I start speaking Spanish...

- ... and.. where are you from?
- Romania
- Romaniaaaa? and how come you speak so well Spanish?? I tought you were from some country in Latin America
- Haha... thank you... well... is a long story... I learned Spanish from soap-operas (telenovelas) and I had the chance to practice it a lot with friends from all over Latin America that I have in Brazil...
- From SOAP-OPERAAAAAS???!!!  (puzzled looks and friendly smiles looking at me...)
- Welll... yes.. you see: Romanian is a latin language, so, even if its pronuntiation has quite a lot of slavic influence, almost the entire grammatical structures are latin, so for me is not that difficult... and well.. we have a lot of telenovelas in Romania and, like everybody, I had my share of them :)))
- Wow!! Nice... I did not know that Romanian is a latin language...
- Don't worry... almost nobody knows... :)) But that's why I am here for :)... between other things :)))

At that time... after I had already travelled a little in Argentina, I had already got used to have this conversation at least 2 times a day :)))... sometimes people ask me to say some phrases in Romanian... like this, the latin-languages speakers can see that they can understand a word or two... but that indeed, our pronuntiation does not help them a lot... :)

Well... as the conversation was going very well and with a lot of loughters, I told them also about my plans of getting an early bus and get to Villa la Angostura and maybe San Martin de los Andes, willing to see on the way the 7 lakes... Bariloche area is famous for the beauty of the lakes... as you will see in the pictures :).

Thank God I speak so much!!! Hehe... because I started to tell them this, they told me that there were 2 Spanish guys that had rented a car to do more or less the same thing, and that they were actually searching for other tourists that might be interested in doing the same trip...

Uhuuu... so... I got to meet the 2 guys (Fernando and Ignacio) in the same night and planned for the trip on the other day... we excluded San Martin de los Andes from the list, because it was quite far and we would have had to do everything in a hurry in order to get there...

The second day, the trip was great, we had a lot of fun, ate a lot, drank... a little, (I had a thick hot chocolate near Villa la Angostura)... it was cooooooooooolll!! (see photos). The view of the lakes was incredible... the air was clean... niceee...

In the night, when we arrived, we went with the girls from the Hostel to a local bar (Irish name, don't remember anymore) until 5 or 6 in the morning... I had my bus to Santiago de Chile at 9 am and still needed to take the bus to the Bus Terminal so I decided not to sleep anymore... just took a looooong shower (about 1h), arrange to have breakfast at 7 am (which was a little too early) and ... off to Chile :)
