Our trip from Kalgoorlie to Ravensthorpe was terrific.  We took some back tracks and camped out overnight.  Imagine Toddy's delight when we were camping with two couples who are travelling with restored tractors and doing about 50km per hour tops!  They can have it!  Made our trip seem like five star.  Once again we were amazed by the great and ever changing scenery.  This part of the world is big rock country.
Well we weren't here for a long time but boy did we have a good time.  Uncle Rob and Aunty Jenny were so welcoming and had a fun filled jam packed weekend organised for us.  The boys went to see some restored tractors on Saturday morning and couldn't get enough of them.  We toured around Hopetown on Saturday afternoon and saw miles and miles of natural bush land in their nature reserves.  We caught up with my "little" cousin Michael and Vicky and their son Mark on Saturday night which was great after so many years.  On Sunday we all travelled to Katherine ad Rodney's farm (170 km) and Judy and Wim came over from Albany.  All the family were together except Renee who has a weekend job and had to work.  It was a terrific day and we finished it off with whale watching at Point Ann and fishing on Trigalow Beach.  You wouldn't believe how many whales we saw and a lot were really close to the shore.  The beach was beautiful with the whitest sand and bluest water with a mountain range in the background.  You are all going to HAVE to see our video and photos.  Just put aside a day or two to do it!!  We were really sorry to be heading off so soon and know we will be back in southern WA a.s.a.p.  Last leg home now.  See you soon.
