Where I stayed
RIVER BREEZE CARAVAN PARK
Once again we enjoyed a fantastic site right on the banks of the beautiful Moruya River. Lots of relatives here so it is not only a holiday, but a bit of a rellie rally, which is always fun.
We spent most of the time just lazing around, catching up with relatives, out to dinner lots and also a lovely BBQ one night at the quarry to watch the sun setting. We were lucky to get it in, as we had just finished when the rain started. Cuppa and cake under the shelter shed until it eased off enough to head home.
We had a really pleasant day in Merimbula with one of Kev's cousins, and also a couple of trips to Batemans Bay. Kev had a couple of fishing trips with cousins as well and there are always lots of stories about his childhood and he enjoys reliving these memories.
We also used this holiday to do a couple of small improvements to the van, which we had talked about lots but just didn't get around to doing. One disadvantage to storing the van off site - but we are not complaining. We are very lucky to enjoy the generosity of a neighbour in Dunmore who stores the van for us for the odd bottle of red and a slab of beer! Yes, people like this still exist in the world, and particularly in the friendly town of Kiama.
No further trips now until next year.
