This morning we had to say goodbye to our new friends Pam and Roger as they were moving on to another locale while we still had another 2 days on Mykonos. I enjoy Katie's last omelet of the sailing trip, she easily makes the best omelets ever, and we pack up our stuff and say goodbye to our new friends from our boat trip. We check into our hotel and hit the beach to relax by the water and have a leisurely lunch. I enjoy a most amazing siesta while Katie wandered around for a bit. We head back to the beach for a happy hour at Happy Bar at the end of the beach. The mojitos consisted of Tequila, sugar and a splash more of tequila while my corona was as cold as any I can ever remember... I should have made a commercial it was so picture perfect!
Scrabble was played on our balcony overlooking the beach over a bottle of wine and apps from the restaurant below, the fantasy salad was retardedly good... All changed and ready to rumble we have dinner at the happy bar and watch yet another amazing finish to a Euro 2008 game before grabbing a cab to paradise beach to go clubbing. We get there around 11:30 only to find out that the clubs don't open until 1 am, or some ridiculous early morning hour so we head to Mykonos town for some drinks. Scandinavia bar is the hotspot and Katie runs into a high school friend on the winding streets of Mykonos town... knew it was bound to happen sooner or later! The streets are super confusing as they are created to confuse marauding pirates. We clearly fit that description and must say that it works!!!
