My day off...

Getting to bed at 8am the night before, after a big night out, really puts a dent in any ambitions we had for the day.  Jess and I sit in the back at a local café and spend the afternoon catching up on emails, making travel plans, and blogging a bit.  Time flies as we do absolutely nothing and realize that it is everything we thought it could be, and more.




We resurface in time to make it back to Jess's apartment, shower and head out to a beer garden to watch the Euro 2008 games.  The outdoor picnic tables filled up fast during the first match as people prepared for the late game which featured a Germany victory over Poland.  I enjoyed large beers and sausages until I couldn't eat anymore, at which point we headed to bed nice and early.  A much needed day off from the madness that has become my trip as of late.
