Malin takes off and I do my best to sleep in but am distracted by the fact that I don't know where I'm going next or even where I'm staying tonight.  I head down to Gamla Stan and meet up with Kerri in a square where we sit down for lunch at an outdoor terrace.  Food hasn't tasted that good in a long time and we hit up a waffle cone of ice cream afterwards that was like heaven on earth!

Next we walked around and talked about life in Australia and Sweden as well as long distance relationships... she's been dating a Swedish guy she met in Thailand for the past 3.5 years and they are living in Sweden for 6 months before he moves down to Australia presumably for good.  Kerri is very nice and seems like an awesome contact to have.  The Australians are definitely winning in terms of the percentage of people I meet who I plan to stay in touch with...

We part ways and I head to the train station to start planning the rest of my life by deciding when and how to go to either Oslo or Copenhagen... and neither wins!  I decide to stay put and not decide anything just yet.  I book a room at a hotel not too far from the one I stayed out last night and take a much needed nap.  I debate just calling it a night when I wake up at 7:30 but my stomach takes over and I gather myself and head out.  Walking in a local square I meet up with Kerri and her friends at yet another outdoor bar/restaurant!  I can't imagine this place during the winter but it must be a very different place.  The entire neighborhood is outside and enjoying early evening food and drinks in a very social setting.  Kerri's Swedish friends are awesome and we have a great conversation before everyone heads home for a quiet night.

I leave with every intention of getting in bed and crashing by 10, but even the best laid plans... on my walk home I stop at a convenience store to grab a bottle of water and, after rudely cutting in front of her in line, I wind up talking to an amazing girl named Kat at a little café for a little while that turns into a long time before I know it... I'd love to meet back up with Kat and she invites me to a concert on Wednesday but I decide to keep moving on.  Who knows, maybe I'll be back!
