Will and I head downtown where Bill's secretary generously helps me navigate the Chinese airline websites to secure tickets to Xi'an and onto Shanghai.  The Kerins' have been entirely way too nice to me!  Next, Will and I are off to the family tailor where I do the requisite fittings and have a few shirts made for me.  David Yu at Ideal Tailors has a small shop in one of HK's high-end office malls but is extremely nice to us and the prices are much more reasonable than I had ever imagined.

I'm off to Macau while Will works on a paper for another one of his classes.  I walk to the ferry from the tailors and run into James (from the reggae boat family in Thailand) who decides to join me.  By the time we turbojet over to Macau and make it through customs, we only have a few short hours before our ferry back departs.

We do a bus tour of the city and then hit up the Venetian Casino to see what is now officially the largest building in the world, bigger than the pentagon, and still being built!  From what I hear, I missed out on a few Portuguese cultural sights and food, but it just gives me a reason to come back next time.

Back in time for dinner with the Kerins family courtesy of Ninette, Will and I head downtown to meet up with Della and friend for drinks in Soho.  We wind up having a late night at a jazz club and Will brings home the band for late night shenanigans.
