It's May!!! Have I really been on the road that long already?  I want to say it seems like yesterday that I left, but it really doesn't!  I have had so many amazing experiences and it actually seems like ages ago that I was working in the real world.  Taking a step back at the end of the trip should prove to be quite revealing in terms of what I'll wind up doing next year... enough pondering for now.

Will's parents are finally back today (Mr. Kerins had been on a business trip while Mrs. Kerins had been stuck in China after her wallet and passport were stolen in the middle of customs between China and Hong Kong!!!) and they offer to take us out for brunch.  We hit up the yacht club which has great food and offers unbeatable views of the city from the harbor front.  Will and I stick around afterwards and roll a few frames at the bowling lanes in the basement and I show him no mercy as he did me in squash.

Next we head across the river/bay/body of water to Mongkok, the traditional Chinese portion of town and home to 75% of Hong Kong`s residents along with Kowloon.

We see the fish, bird and flower markets and even stumble on a Hong Kong Football Association soccer game (the Lanwa International FA Cup) where I am tempted to suit up and play.  We walk our way towards the waterfront of Kowloon and finally head back home after a full afternoon out.

My second squash game in many years hands me yet another loss, but at a very narrow margin this time around.  I would definitely like to start playing wherever I wind up next year as it seems like a very fun game and an amazing work out as well.  Maybe I'll even be able to take on my dad at some point...

Will and I did a live music bar crawl through Wan Chai tonight hitting up at least 5 different venues and seeing hundreds of the US Marines in town for the week.  The Wanch and Club No. 9 are my favorite spots on the tour but each is quite amusing.  The night ends falling asleep to a movie on the couch.
