The night ended nice and late but with just enough sleep to wake up at the crack of dawn to catch a bus to the blue mountains.  Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate on this gloomy day, but I did get to see a kangaroo in the wild!

We were at the foot of the 3 sisters and saw nothing.  We were mere inches from the edge of a huge cliff and couldn't see down into the expansive ravine or off to the surrounding mountains due to the blinding fog.

The fog and rain filled tour finished at the Olympic village from which we grabbed a ferry to downtown Sydney, which was a great experience highlighting how integral the waterways were to this port city.  Back in just enough time to change and head out to meet up with Lauren (from Melbourne who came up to Sydney for the weekend), we meet up with her and head downtown to a fabulous dinner with her and her friend Allie.

Next we head across the street to a charity benefit party function thingy which was for a guy named Brett Levine who had passed away a few years ago.  It is always wonderful to drink for a good cause and Phin and I use the excuse to continue catching up and making up for lost time.  The night takes us to a sweet bar in King's Cross where we cause all sorts of shenanigans before calling it a night.
