We wake up and are troopers after a big night out.  A leisurely walk down the river bank brings us to all sorts of amazing sights.  I play tour guide as I've done my research in the trusty Rough Guide I have and we see things like Parliament House, the Supreme Court, City Hall, Victoria Concert Hall & Theatre, The Esplanade, Raffles City, Singapore Recreation Club, Riverside Point, Cavenagh Bridge, and the Sir Stamford Raffles landing site.

Adi heads back to the hotel to take a nap as she didn't sleep all that well and Lauren and I take the opportunity to hit up Orchard road.  Orchard road is the Singapore equivalent to 5th Avenue with every major international brand name having an outlet in the few kilometer stretch of mall after mall after mall, and each one is more upscale than the last.

Based on everything I've heard as I travel, I decide to skip most of my trip to the Phillipines in favor of more time between NZ and Australia and I change my flights accordingly.  I am now only going to visit Manilla and not make it south to Cebu or Boracay...

The group reunites and we hit up Tapas Tree Bar for mid-afternoon drinks and snacks.  All the sangria induces a sweet nap before rallying for the night.  Dinner is at Bayan, which serves amazing Balinese food which such amazing flavoring I eat way too much.  Next, we meet up with David Lefkowitz, a family friend who is living out here.  We hit up the bars and clubs of Clarke Quay and have yet another great night with plenty of dancing and last-night shenanigans.  We end with another great late night convo on the streets of Singapore and I crash a happy guy!
