Jen and I woke up early for our "bush walk" today, which turned out to be utterly disappointing.  We saw more animals on the way to our walk than actually on it.  We did get to learn more about the medicinal use of many trees such as the toilet paper tree, the tooth brush bush and the "runs" tree, but I had been hoping for something more that maybe would require guns for protection... You can't win every time I guess, as the Irish couple had told us about another camp from which they did a walk WITH a lion!!!  Grrr, very grrrr!

We got into the car and woke up at the Blyde River Canyon which is similar to the Grand Canyon in beauty and grandiose.  The three rondavels are 3 peaks shaped like Zulu huts that have been carved from centuries of erosion.
The whole place is majestic and we are in awe of the views, distances and astonishing lack of echo.

The rest of the ride back to Jo'burg, or Jozi, is uneventful and we check into the Garden Court Sandton.  Sandton is more of what I had expected from Jozi as it resembles Buckhead in Atlanta.  Everything is very nice and almost too perfectly put together.  We walk over to Nelson Mandela Square for a nice seafood dinner.  Don't try the sushis there as they tasted funny and I think I regretted the decision to keep eating them later on.
It's Jen's B-day, but we are both beyond tired from the long week and drive back to civilization as we previously knew it, so we hit the hotel after a short walk around the area.
