Yesterday after class we went to eat at the James Dean restaurant down the corner from school which was pretty fun since a large portion of the study abroad students went and a lot of non-South Texas students went.

Then we took the tram down to their river and boarded a boat that took us to the zoo. The river here has a lock system to go down it so that was pretty interesting since I've never been on a boat that used that before.

After an hour long boat ride, wine, beer, Czech countryside and great conversation with friends we arrived at the zoo around 5:15pm and proceeded to power walk through the zoo, since it closed at 6. Supposedly the bat cave is epic but we looked for it the whole time and "they don't come until winter"... Whatever. We got to go up the side of a mountain on a single person chair lift called the "chair of liability". The zoo was like all other zoos.... Depressing animals in cages but a cool experience and good time with friends.

Then Amanda and I came back to Prague 5, tried to order Chinese food in the food court in the mall which didn't go so well but didn't end up too terrible. American Chinese food is wayyyyy better, they take a lot of the sauce out here and there's no real spice to it. Then we went grocery shopping since I'm getting pretty fed up with sausage and potatoes.

Tomorrow we're going to the museum of communism, which should be interesting...
