Where I stayed
The town of Bariloche, beautifully set on the shore of Lago Nahuel Huapi, is home to one of Argentina's best ski resorts. In the summer, as we soon discovered, it is also Argentina's adventure sports capital.
We spent a week (and a good amount of pesos!) here doing all the activities we could. Kayaking on a crystal clear lake, horseriding on massive Argentinian horses through the national park, rafting the rapids of the Rio Manso and wading & abseiling our way through icy cold streams and waterfalls while canyoning. Despite being utterly exhausted by our stay, it was agreed that Bariloche was our favourite place in Argentina so far.
Leaving the fun and beauty of bariloche behind us, we took another overnight bus and headed back to Buenos Aires to see a little bit more of the capital.
