After a bit of waiting we decided to get our lazy asses back to the airport and handle it ourselves..and charge American Airlines for the cab ride :) We get there and find out that both of our suitcases have been accidentally sent to Buenos Aires, a completely different country. Hats off to you American Airlines!
We yelled at them and got lots of money for each day our luggage is missing. The least I can say is that we had quite a feast of a lunch after we got our monetary compensation hahaha. We went to the beach and of course soaked in lots of sights and sounds. This evening we just got back from watching a movie at the local theatre... and no not some artsy brazilian flick you all would probably think i~d watch but it was The Da Vinci Code.. or O Coda DaVinci en Portuguese. It was in english and subtitled. I loved the experience.. people booŽd and hissed when they were pissed they showed all sorts of emotion it was just cool. I really think Americans are prudes in all ways when compared to Brazilians.
I decided I want to be Brazilian. I mean i love being Indian and American but DAMN these Brazilian girls sure know how to carry themselves. I mean everyone has this sense of self confidence and every American woman could learn a thing or two. I tried walking the way they do and saw that I looked like a fool in a store window and abruptly stopped.
As for tomorrow we plan on hitting the beaches... with SURF BOARDS! Its surf lesson time and its gonna rock. For all those telling me to go to see a futbol game worry not. The next game is on Sunday. I~ll tell you all about it. Till then... adieu!
